藤原北家日野流.家格は名家.権大納言・広橋仲光[1342-1406]の子の右衛門督・兼俊[-1447]を祖とする.竹屋光継の代で断絶.江戸時代に入り,権大納言・広橋総光の子の権中納言・光長により再興.
